Super Bowl 2024 TV broadcasts ‘will open with a Las Vegas tribute… Guess who is going to do the opening segment?
A tribute for the Super Bowl host city of Las Vegas will feature on broadcasts of this year’s big game, as it will also include one of Frank Sinatra’s most popular songs, ‘My Way.’
That’s according to TMZ, which further reports that several ‘My Way’ tributes will ‘prominently’ feature throughout Sunday’s Super Bowl LVIII broadcast of the Kansas City Chiefs against the San Francisco 49ers.
‘My Way’ was popularized in 1969 by Sinatra and is set to the music of the French song, ‘Comme d’habitude,’ which was composed by Claude Francois, who first sang the classic hit in 1967.
The English lyrics of the song were written by Paul Anka and are unrelated to the original French song.
The song was a success for a variety of performers including, Sinatra, Elvis Presley, and Sid Vicious. Sinatra’s version of ‘My Way’ spent 75 weeks in the UK Top 40, which is fourth place of all time.

After that, CBS will show players’ families, talking about their accomplishments and background, while a new mix of ‘My Way’ plays in the background. The new mix of ‘My Way’ is believed to include a live performance from an orchestra, with Sinatra signing at the same.
What’s more is that the world famous crooner will be put on display on Sin City’s newest concert venue on The Strip, called The Sphere.
Usher will also give a ‘My Way’ shout-out during his halftime performance, according to TMZ.
