Travis Kelce shared the advice that girlfriend Taylor Swift gave him about performing at his musical festival, Kelce Jam…. And how she had to repeat it 10 times for him to understand
Travis Kelce has revealed the touching piece of advice his girlfriend Taylor Swift gave him before he performed in front of thousands of people.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end was gearing up for his Kelce Jam performance, an annual festival that also featured performances from 2 Chainz, Diplo, and Lil Wayne.
Speaking with Page Six, Kelce shared that the pop princess simply told him: “Just go out there and have fun.”

“I’d be silly if I tried to imitate what she does!” the NFL player joked on the red carpet of his event.
Kelce also told The Hollywood Reporter that he isn’t trying to be like Swift, admitting that would be impossible.
“She’s on a whole other stratosphere. She’s the best at what she does for a reason. It’s because she’s so articulate and just very dialled into every single thing that she does. And that’s the beauty of it.”

“I’d be silly if I ever tried to take anything from what she does other than just enjoy the people that show up. I think that’s one thing I could probably take away: She really relates to the people she’s performing in front of, and so I’ll take that,” he said.
Kelce also shared their favourite song from Swift’s latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, telling People: “I might be a little biassed to So High School.”
This confession seemingly confirms the rumours that the song is about him as there are references to him and between Swift’s teenage life and her current one.
The second-annual Kelce Jam saw 20,000 attendees gathering at the Azura Amphitheater in Kansas City.
Kelce also told People how he felt at the highly-anticipated event: “I’m so fired up. We got Lil Wayne, we got 2 Chainz – two of my favourite rap artists in the game since I believe I was in high school – and we got Diplo about to take it over in between the two sets. So it’s just gonna be a whole bunch of fun.”
