The VERY Important Reason Why Travis Kelce Missed All of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Shows in Edinburgh REVEALED!
Taylor Swift spent her weekend playing three shows in Edinburgh, Scotland, in the first part of her Eras Tour’s U.K. leg.
Her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, wasn’t spotted at any of the concerts there, opting instead to stay stateside. Kelce spent his Saturday in Eastlake, Ohio, where he joined the David Njoku Celebrity Softball Game. According to Cleveland’s News 5, Kelce did quite well, scoring 11 home runs and winning the event’s home run derby trophy.
Kelce last attended Swift’s final Eras Tour show in Paris on May 12. Following that performance, the couple spent a few days on vacation in Lake Como, Italy. Paparazzi photos came out of them having multiple candlelit dinners and kissing on a boat ride on the romantic trip.
They split up after that getaway, with Swift moving onto Stockholm, Sweden, to perform her three shows there from May 17 to 19. Kelce returned home to Kansas City, Missouri, to host Kelce Jam on May 18.
He has not been back to Europe since. According to Page Six, Kelce and his brother, Jason, will be in Cannes, France on June 20 to record an episode of their podcast New Heights during the Cannes Lion International Festival of Creativity. Swift has a two-day break in her tour schedule at that time, so she could join Kelce in France or Kelce could join Swift in London on the 21st, when she’ll play her first Eras Tour show in the city.
A source told Us Weekly on May 23 that Kelce is dedicated to seeing Swift as much as he can during his offseason. “He wants to support her as much as he can while he can, so he’s going to [go] back and forth from the U.S. to Europe while he has the time,” the source said.
He and the Kansas City Chiefs will begin their training camp on July 23.
Swift, for her part, had nothing but glowing things to say about her time in Scotland. She wrote to her fans on Instagram, “Edinburgh!!! You truly blew me away this weekend. Thank you for breaking the all-time attendance record for a stadium show in Scotland 3 times in a row 🤯 and for all the ways you made us feel right at home. Love you, all 220,000 of you!!! 🤍”
