Millions of Fans React to what Donna Kelce said to Travis after his dominant performance in the Kansas City Chiefs’ EPIC Win over the Ravens “You are possessed, who are you…”
Donna Kelce has revealed what she said to son Travis when she met him on the pitch after the Kansas City Chiefs’ win that secured their Super Bowl spot.
The Chiefs were underdogs going into the AFC Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens but caused a huge upset by winning 17-10 in Maryland.
Kelce was a huge reason for that after a dominant performance that saw him score a touchdown and put up 11 receptions for 116 yards.
Donna was in the stands watching with Travis’ brother Jason Kelce and girlfriend Taylor Swift but made her way down to the field with other family members to celebrate with the players.
She immediately made a beeline for her son and embraced him before commenting on his impressive performance.
Speaking to People, Donna said: ‘I just looked at him and I said, “You were possessed.”‘
‘It was just the most amazing feats I’ve ever seen him accomplish. He was on a mission… a mission to make sure that they won this game.’
Donna was also full of praise for Kelce’s teammates after they produced a ruthless performance.
‘Everything just fit into place. It all worked well and I was amazed at how they could all come together like that,’ she added.
‘It’s so difficult to get there and to be able to get there two times in a row, this was very special.’
Donna’s suites have become slightly more crowded this season because of Swift’s presence at her boyfriend’s games.
The pop sensation has watched Kelce play 12 times now and will make it 13 at the Super Bowl this weekend.
Speaking about the atmosphere in the luxury box on game days, Donna said that the ‘camaraderie’ and ‘making sure that you’re enjoying the time you’re there’ are most important.
This weekend’s suite will be particularly ecstatic if Kelce can deliver back-to-back Super Bowls. It will be busy again as Jason and Swift join other relatives and loved ones at the game.
On Sunday, Jason admitted he’s excited to see the Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers battle for the Vince Lombardi trophy.
‘It’s a little bit different obviously, with my brother playing. I just love being a fan of the game and watching great football,’ he said.
‘They are two of the pinnacles that the NFL has to offer. Both of these teams have been at the top of their conferences for the last five to six years on both sides and they’ve played each other in this game before.
‘It’s going to be an awesome game to watch. I can’t wait to watch it.
‘But yeah, whenever you’re watching a loved one compete there’s a very prideful feeling that you have that’s very different to competing for yourself or watching regularly.
‘Obviously my brother and I love each other very much. We’re cherishing these moments because we know eventually they’ll be gone and I’m looking forward to being down there and cheering him on.’
