EXCLUSIVE: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce took their romance to a private club in Los Angeles over the weekend
Disney CEO Bob Iger was reportedly ‘fawning over’ Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce in Los Angeles.
Iger’s fandom came to light when the 14-time Grammy winner and three-time Super Bowl champion dined at Bird Streets Club in Los Angeles on Saturday night, per Page Six.
According to a source at the scene, Iger was dining with his wife, Willow Bay, when Swift and Kelce walked into the celebrity hotspot.
‘Bob jumped up from his seat the minute [Taylor] walked in,’ the source shared.
The private club is known for hosting A-listers such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Timothee Chalamet, and Bruno Mars.
While Swift’s stardom can explain Iger’s adoration, his business also benefited from the pop star’s celebrity.
Earlier this month, Disney+ launched ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version)’ and built the service’s homepage around the megastar. Disney reportedly paid $75 million for the worldwide streaming rights to the three-hour concert film.
With Disney owning 80 per cent of ESPN, Iger also cashed in on Swift’s effect in the NFL over the last season.
According to the New York Times, networks averaged 25million viewers in late Sunday slots and 16million in early Sunday slots when Swift attended Chiefs games. Swift’s presence raised viewership by nine per cent and 15 per cent, respectively.
Additionally, Disney+ planned a production with Swift at the Hollywood sign but scratched the operation on March 12 after an outcry from residents near the iconic landmark.
Swift recently finished the Asian leg of her record-breaking tour in Singapore. She and Kelce are spending time together before Swift resumes her shows in Europe in May.
Kelce is expected to be with her through the European leg until he and the Chiefs start the preseason as they look to win their third straight title.
